winter hand salve?

Does anyone have a recipe for something to use on dry cracked hands? My dh's hands are always horrible in the winter and they hurt him. We have tried tons of lotions etc. He used the cornhuskers one but would like something natural. I have beeswax and shea butter on hand and am willing to purchase other ingredients. He tried straight coconut oil but wants something that is more stable and won't get liquid as quickly.

Equal parts weighed beeswax and Shea butter melted will make a salve. Equal parts weighed beeswax, Shea butter and coconut or olive oil will make a lotion bar. Pour into mold, pop in fridge until set (an hour or more), then unmold. You can add herbs and strain them before molding or use essential oils for scent.

Mix some shea butter with the coconut oil and beeswax and that should work great for him!

If you can find it online anywhere, Sensaria Body Butter is great. The company went out of business (natural bodycare home business). I'm so glad I got the business kit when I did, because I love the stuff.

also love the beeswax lotion (comes out like a salve/butter) recipe here:

Actually I love all her stuff and find it really easy to make. Though if u ever need a water/oil based lotion I do recommend mixing, I use my immersion blender
