She said she'd try strawberries today. I bought some sour cream and I have brown sugar so hoping the sugar thing will get her to eat it. Any new fruits is great. even if it's loaded with sugar on top
Kenzie likes honey on hers.

ooh that sounds good too. Shay's not a huge honey fan, but I'll try it if the sugar doesn't go over well

We eat honey instead of sugar.

well sugar and sour cream did not go over well. she liked honey a little but she also liked it plain. but she refused to eat more than a couple bites. I made a banana, strawberry smoothie and the kids are sharing. I used soy milk so DS could have some. He's drinking it faster than she is LOL.

Re: The 25lb Challenge October thread

I need help. I do so good all day and then at night I can't stop snacking! What sort of quick healthy snacks do you keep on the ready? I feel like I have a healthy option within reach it might be easier to resist junk. I would just not buy junk but SO pretty much lives off of it so that's not an option.

what kind of junk do you like to snack on? maybe you can find a healthier alternative? Like if you like chips, opt for popcorn or wheat thin kind of chips.

I don't buy junk if DH wants it he buys it and its normally gone in a day or two.

I keep fruit and veggies always in my fridge. I always have popcorn in hand to make. I also drink tons of water. Grapes are my normal go to night snack attack food.

Frozen fruit and popcorn are what I keep around. Frozen fruit tastes like candy and is so refreshing. Popcorn for that chip like yearning. I used to be a huge night time snacker and when on WW I would save the majority of my points for night time and I still lost weight due to eating within my calorie range. Maybe eat really conservative during the day so you have enough calories to have some junk at night.

ETA I am still at 155.2. I think I have stalled. I wish it was at 152, but at least it is not 167 like usual. I need to do something to lose more weight. I might go back on WW here soon. I seem to have a lot of luck doing that diet. I know the points for things too, so it will be easy. I wish I could do the hCG diet, but it is too low cal while breastfeding. I will do it once DS weans.
