I weigh in daily, as I am a glutton for punishment. I like to see if what I did the day before is making me carry water, not working, or helping me. It allows me to adjust. I do not get really discoraged, just helps me to try harder.

Re: The 25lb Challenge October thread

Hope your day gets better Kimmie!

I weigh in everyday usually, it helps me to determine whether what I did the day before is keeping me on track or not. I prefer that method than tracking calories, as I hate logging in everything I eat.

Thank you, Amanda. The 3 yr old just needs to listen to what he is told and the day will go much better. He cannot go outside as it is cold and rainy, so he is sick and couped up. He also has behavioral issues, so this weather and being ill makes him nearly impossible to deal with at times. Max and Ruby is on, so that may help. He loves this show.

I'm like Kimmie I like to weigh daily or every other day. It's so o can see if I'm retaining water. I lost a bit and that's with a pending AF (I know it's coming). When it does ill weigh again after a few days. Things like weighing daily tell me if I'm holding water for some reason.

Re: The 25lb Challenge October thread

oh ok I didn't know if it was a personal thing or a thread rule that you did it daily. For me, I get frustrated really easily so even though I know logically a plateau for a week might be followed with a 5lb drop in a day, or a small rise might come right back down the next day it still pushes me toward giving up and eating something I shouldn't have in a "oh well, might as well give myself this chocolate doughnut to the head b/c I'm gonna be fat forever" drama. It's better for me to not know. LOL

I stalled and had a 4 lb gain recently. It sucked to see everyday. I finally dropped.

I had a big dinner to make up for not wanting lunch. I just was not hungry. I was kinda suprised that I lost after eating a few french fries last night. DH cooked them in the deep fryer where I cannot resist them.
Awesome! we forgot our deep frier in the move, SO was so bummed.
