Ok mine is the Gaiam one for target I got it on clearance for 30. I have to touch the face plate on it through out the workout to get a proper read (I do this in between exercises or every 4 min or so).

The best are the ones with the chest strap. By far the one I was referred to and I see people use most is the Polar FT4 or Polar FT7. It seems the hardest part to those HRM 's are setting them up. I found the FT4 for 68 on hearttatemonitorsusa.com
That's what I was looking in to, the Polar FT4. Some reviews read that it didn't give accurate readings at the ready... But maybe I should just take the plunge?
Do you know if it would work for lap swimming as well? It says water resistant...
The dilemmas!

I do kit believe it will work for lap swimming. I know from friends that the HRM that didn't work right out of the package had to have a new battery. Even though its unopened they are sitting and the batteries die.

Ooooh, now I'm all excited!! Perhaps it will help with motivation, too!
I actually got the FT7, but only because I liked the bright red one
The total came to $83. One reviewer said she wears hers lap swimming and it works great! Also, they took PayPal
Thanks mama!!!

Well then that's a win win!!! Yay!! I love mine I like to see how many cals I burn hiking (btw you'll be surprised). Doing 30 day shred I burn easy 427 cals in 30 min if I push hard.

Let me know when it get there and you have one to play with it.

Re: The 25lb Challenge October thread

hey mamas. I just wanted to check in and apologize for being MIA.
I haven't been watching what I'm eating too well, but luckily I haven't gained too much. This weekend we are doing the Disney resort here so I may just not weigh in and start anew on Monday (for November). I will check in and update the OP though.

Lately my skin has been driving me bananas. I decided I needed a new routine and I think my cleanser, though supposedly natural, was too harsh. I have been using honey to wash my face and so far so good. I'll let you all know how that goes as well.
