This cycle has been insane, to say the least. Last real period was July 31. Then my IUD fell out (yes, FELL OUT) on Aug 15. Had bleeding on Aug 18, but nothing more. Finally O'd on Sept 17. Last Wed, Sept 26, BFN in the morning, major temp drop and bleeding started...AF was apparently here after an 8 day LP. Thursday temps still low and major HEAVY bleeding. Then Friday temps went way WAY up, but still very heavy bleeding. Sat temp still very high and bleeding getting lighter. Today temp was still way up, so decided to test for the fun of it.

I am terrified of an ectopic, and am making an appointment tomorrow. Hopefully they can get me in soon, just in case. But I'm trying to stay positive. Temps staying up and lines getting darker is a good sign it's not a m/c, but DH and I are nervously excited.

Due June 10. We're not announcing until Christmas. We obviously want to tell our families before the rest of the world (Facebook, etc) and I really want to announce at Christmas. Hoping I can keep it a secret that long lol We should be able to announce gender then too! (16wks on Christmas eve)

Wow! that was quite a roller coaster for you! I sure hope all is well and we'll be on a 9 month coaster together!

Thanks ladies. I talked to the Kaiser Nurse Line and the OB is going to call me tomorrow. In the meantime I'm basically on bedrest. Laying down with my legs elevated.

FWIW, with my ectopic I had heavy bleeding but it was almost black in colour.

thanks for the warm welcome ladies!! The bleeding has completely stopped...not even a bit of spotting, so I'm hoping all is well. I plan to keep testing until I have answers from the doc just to make sure my lines are getting darker. Planning to pick up a "good" test...probably FRER since that's my go-to while I'm at the store tonight.
