Re: KAL ~ Knit for the love of it! Sept 30 - Oct 6
They are totally worth it and not hard to make - I actually split the recipe in half (just because 4-6 pancakes are plenty for my two in the AM) and since they're pretty darn good fresh and so easy, I just make more the next day. Although you can totally refrigerate or freeze the extra pancakes if you want leftovers!
Even though my first try, I only had half the needed milk and used half-and-half for the other, umm..., half (hehe) and the batter turned out really, really, really thick, they were still delicious. Today I had the right amount of milk and they turned out perfect - and even a little more delicious.

Re: KAL ~ Knit for the love of it! Sept 30 - Oct 6
We had an awesome dinner!!!
We shared a bottle of prosecco, and dinner was potato croquetes, lamb lollipops, and seared ahi tuna. Everything was TDF. For dessert we shared a guinness cupcake with Jamison and baileys frosting. I really just wanted a bowl of the frosting... but it was delicious!!!!!!! I knit in the car. We did quite a bit of driving around to drop Brianna off and get uptown. Charlotte is really big!

Yeah between Nicks parents and GMA they sent enough $ to basically cover that meal. We assumed the purpose was to spend on dinner or something, since they usually get mad if we "save" our Christmas money. Brianna stayed with friends of ours. They have a DD just a few months younger, and the two of them play really great together. Same family that we'll be going to the Renaissance Festivals with.

Good morning. I only have 1 arm left on the hootie who. I'm not going to finish it until tomorrow bc my neighbor wants to see how to magic loop but won't be home today. So I'm starting a new project. I'm going to make a sheepy longies/sweater set to stock. I got some cute Tessa Ann buttons to make some in stock items with.
Busy week! Dh has a dentist appt this morning, I have one this afternoon. Cub scouts meeting tonight. I have a midwife appt tomorrow. Adoption social worker comes for a home visit on Wednesday. Phew!
