Had my craft fair and it was meh. Sold a bunch but was irritated with my booth placement and a "friend" who took my actual slot since it was better than hers and she got there before me. On a good note, I met 3 ladies there who cloth diaper...which is huge as its more of an "underground" mommy thing here I sold some obv prefolds, wetbags, knit cardis, hair clips and clothing. I'm debating if I should open a WAHM thread here to unload the last of my goods before I hibernate.

Here are some shameless pictures

Aww..at least he's a sweetie

on stealing your booth but at least you met some mamas and sold some. Selling things on spots might be a way to get rid of stuff? quick and easy I would lthink.

off to work, went last night too and thank goodness, we are swamped.

Long night at work. I had to send a CNA home and then we were short. I AM going to knit today damn it. Sleep has won every time I've thought about knitting.

Yeah, I'm a bit of a dog geek myself. I want a pretty dog, but a good family dog so I think I've decided I want a German Shorthaired Pointer as our first family dog. I'm also hoping it motivates me to go out and run a few times a week with it because they need exercise like that. I'm not against finding a nice one at the humane society though either so we'll see. One day I'll have myself a Great Dane and when the kids are much older DH has agreed to a Pit Bull or mix but he wants all of the kids to be teenagers then so that is on my waiting list.

I've never knit the hoodlum, but the Greyson pattern is pretty easy so I would be you could do them similarly.

GSPs are wonderful dogs. The vet I worked for bred them, vislas, & English bulldogs. Well, his children did as teenagers for their first car money. He matched whatever profit they made from puppies when they turned 16. Anyway, the puppies were psychotically hyper, but as adults, GSPs are great dogs.

AFM: Busy day...its midnight and I just got home and relaxed. We took the boys to a bmx dirt track to check out the kiddie races and my boys LOVED it! DH really wants to get them into a sport (since he always felt geeky and not coordinated beyond surfing). They boys love riding bikes, dirt and racing each other, so perfect fit. Hope we can check out a bike store Monday for a new strider bike for E and a big boy bmx bike for C....good thing their nana is chipping in.

I found out that sour patch kids are GF, speaking of junk food, and I have a total weakness for those. I've had a couple bags since I found out, totally helps with pregnancy cravings

That totally sucks about the "friend" though. You have such cute bags, it sucks she took your spot

3/4 of the jars didn't seal There were too many air bubbles in it I guess and when it settled during the sterilize boil what seemed like barely enough headspace ended up being way too much. At least the kids will eat it, I get grumpy about wasting lids though. I need to buy more jars for the jam. DH is out cutting back all of our blackberries since the new growth is done for the year, he's leaving anything that still has berries and cutting back the pieces that don't. I need to make some caramel sauce for apples hopefully today, and we're making GF clam chowder for dinner, but subbing the clams for white fish for more nutritional value. I'm just thinking about it...
