The Dreaded Yeast.
What else can I do to get rid of the yeast? I've bleached everything and DS2 (7 months) is in sposies. I have prescription hyrdrocortisone and canestan that I've been applying twice a day, coconut oil at every other change and grapefruit seed extract in the wipe water. The rash is almost completely gone, except for two small dime sized patches. My doctor won't prescribe any stronger cream because she says it's going away and to "keep doing what I'm doing". He's had this rash for almost two months now and I'm so so sick of using sposies and bleaching everything. What else can I do to get rid of it? I do lots of bare bum time to air things out and I'm at a loss at what else to do. When DS1 had yeast it took me 4 months to get rid of it. Why does it have to be such a PITB to get rid of

Yes, at first I diluted it abit, I thought it might cause a burning sensation but he didn't seem to mind so I did full strength with every change.
I was going to make an appt at the pedi and everything until my Mom suggested it. I thought what do I have to loose?

Re: The Dreaded Yeast.
Have you washed your diapers with GSE? Supposedly, bleach doesn't kill the spores but GSE does. I would bleach again then do a wash with 1tsp GSE.
