Re: Lil Shamrocks - Week of Oct 1

My 8yr is going to be a candy corn witch. idk that i'll even take jake out.

my family keeps telling me to have an abortion. I'd never even consider that, but its not helping the situation.

After no contact since he told me he wanted a divorce/opened his own bank account. I get an email today "you were given $2,000 that was plenty to pay the bills i told you i was going to take care of it but no i didnt get a phone call or any thing i had to find out from the bank and my pay role to see were the money was sent and where it whent. so yeah thanks for communicationg thouse bills should of been payed with that money, if you didnt do that not my problem"

my reply :
The bills total 5489.80.
How am i supposed to pay that with 2,000 and have anything left for food.
You promised not to touch the bank account when i asked you how you
were going to pay the bills.

NO answer of course. ..........

his therapist agreed to meet me on friday. Hope he can give me some insight on an addicts mind.

Thursday i meet the lawyer i know i can't afford. I have all my evidence lined up. I will file emergency custody and protection order if i can. He's so unstable.

What a mess, Stephanie. I hope the therapist and lawyer are able to help you out. I can't even imagine.

Another dreary day in NH today. The good news is I'm getting caught up on housework! Kitchen is today's goal...tomorrow, master bath.

That's horrible Stephanie. I have no idea what resources there are in Maine but here in CA we have a ton of help for mother's in your situation. Maybe look into WIC (I don't know if that is just state or national). Explain your situation to the bill people, sometimes they will let you defer payments. In the mean time cut all unnecessary things like cell phones, cable tv, etc.

AFM: I forgot to mention I finally started attacking our bedroom to get it ready for the birth. It feels SO good to have a clean closet. Now I have to find a new frame or lower the one we have. It is driving me bonkers that we still sleep with our mattress on the floor!

Steph - good for you on sending an email with the details all laid out. Make sure you're saving and printing ones from him. If I were you I'd keep all contact via email or certified letter. Much easier to track.

QOTW: DD is dressing as a cute, colorful witch and DS is going to be Harry Potter. He's so excited over the silly wand we bought yesterday. DH and I don't dress up. We usually just ToT in my parent's neighborhood or DH's parent's neighborhood, where he grew up. He's from a small town where everyone knows everyone and the kids are ok eating the homemade popcorn balls, etc.

AFM: On day 4 of being migraine free. So nice! I hope it lasts. Felt a couple thumps the last day or two but I'm still using my doppler at night to reassure my worrisome self. Baby likes to hang out down low by my hip bones. I can feel the lump pretty easily now.

QOTW: If you currently have children and you celebrate Halloween, what will they dress up as? If you do not celebrate Halloween, do you have any other fall traditions?

We LOVE Halloween and have so much fun dressing up. My family is going to be a skeleton family. I will have a baby in my belly, hubby will have a burger and my girls will wear skeleton tops with tutus. ALL made by me! I will post pics when I am done.

Over here nothing could get me down, my sister is in labor and doing fantastic. I am SO excited to meet my new niece on Skype later today. I have to go to work now but I will be doing a happy dance all morning! Please pray for a safe and simple delivery, she pushed for over three hours with her son :/
Hope your sister does great!!
NOTHING is helping me at ALL! I've even been taking 2 extra strength tylenol with a coke and it barely takes the edge off. UGH!

I agree with all of this!
See what resources you can get to help you and the kids and cut all unneeded spending.

Re: Lil Shamrocks - Week of Oct 1

Stephanie - glad you're able to talk to some resources & start on the path to recovery. Still praying for you!

QOTW - I love Halloween. My birthday is a week before, so it's always been a big part of my life. So, DS is going as a Thomas the Train conductor. I think it should be fun & cute. I just wish that I was crafty enough to construct a train out of cardboard or something. Oh well.

AFM - feeling better, although dragging a little today. I was hyped up last night for some reason and didn't get much good sleep. That being said, we did finally get a new mattress, which is so much more comfortable that the old one. I'm getting sleep and moved back into the room with DH
