September TTC #1 -No Children Mentioned-

This thread is for all of us ladies who are still trying for our first living child.

The truth is at the end of the day when we're anxiously awaiting that BFP.......and it's a BFN we don't have any precious LO's to hold in our arms. We have no comfort in the children we already have, since we have none.

And sometimes it makes us sad to keep hearing about everyone else with children, and stories about those children just hurt. So we won't mention any children here. So it's a safe place without judgment when we get jealous.

I have some really bad luck. On my way to work this morning another car came around a curve on our side of the road and hit us. We managed to avoid a head on collision but he slammed into our side and spun us around. I have a knot on the side of my head the size of my fist bit other than that we're all okay.

Oh no!! DH got hit last month and it did 10,000 damage to his truck but he is ok. I'm glad you are ok!!!

AFM, CD 29, I think. Nothing but dark red spotting, if even that. Super strange for me because normally I get AF right at 28 days. I may POAS later for the heck of it, but I am all out of cheapies until this next co-op order comes in.

Re: September TTC #1 -No Children Mentioned-

I ended up going to the hospital yesterday after the wreck. I went into one hospital around 9:00 am and then got transferred to another one around 3 pm and then got finally got home at midnight last night. The doctors did x-rays and Cat Scans and thought I had brain bleeding so they sent me to a trauma specialist who ruled it out. I just have a concussion and some bleeding outside my skull on my forehead. I'm covered in bruises on my right side and aching everywhere but i'm glad nothing serious happened to me. My sisters and cousin who were in the car are fine and so are the other driver. The other driver's insurance is being forced to pay my hospital bills due to the hospitals' policies.

Eeep! I'm sorry to hear about your accident. I'm so sorry! Glad you aren't seriously hurt.

Another old friend of mine is pregnant, just saw it on facebook 5 mins ago. Now I feel like barfing and crying at the same time. I know I should be happy for them, but it gets harder and harder. Been trying for 9 months now.

HUGS! I will happen!! It is hard, and I feel your grief! Just know you are not alone!

AFM, I still haven't really gotten AF. I did POAS and it was negative. It's still dark and stringy and only when I wipe (sorry if that is TMI). I am going to my gyn next Wednesday to figure out what is going on.

CD#21. It seems like every day someone new is telling me they're pregnant and just within the past 2 weeks I had 2 cousins born. It's hard seeing all this stuff while worrying it might never happen for me. If it doesn't happen for me this month I think we might take a break for a cycle ( I have a lot going on now thanks to the accident and my sister so close to having her baby) and then we might try soy.

Re: September TTC #1 -No Children Mentioned-

I will let you know how soy goes...i took it 3-7. i'm on cycle day 9 at the moment. My period has been realllly weird this month. I'm on cycle day 9 and still spotting. But i haven't had any medium or heavy days at all. It's just been very very light to spotting. Which of course has me thinking maybe it's not a period, which of course has me POAS like a million times. I have a bunch of really cheap OPKs and HPKs. I've been dipping a ton of HPKs while doing my OPKs. I've been doing several OPKs a day this cycle too. I'm determined to see a positive OPK, I haven't seen one ever. Not sure if I'm not catching it normally or if I'm antiovulatory. Anyways, I'm also determined to stick with temps for the whole month too. With cycles in the 40ish or more range it's very easy for me to lose steam half way through.

But yeah I think there's something in the water with this pregnant ladies! I'm sure there are no more than last year, but I just notice it more because I want it for myself so badly. This current one hit me pretty bad, it's a girl I was pretty good friends with in college and then we had a bad falling out..and well she's someone I don't really like that much at the end of the day...so it just left me feeling I totally knew it was coming soon, she quit her job a year ago (or got fired who knew) and stayed home to "concentrate on the house" or something like that. Just seemed a little odd if they weren't trying. Anyways, I'm babbling. Hope you guys are doing okay.

Still no AF and I still kind of have the brownish mucusy discharge (if that is TMI I am sorry) only when I wipe. I am going crazy! POAS is negative thus far. I'm just going to wait and see...

Re: September TTC #1 -No Children Mentioned-

CD#22. I have nausea today. I got it this morning and have kept it all day. On the 4th the hospital did a blood pregnancy test that was negative but that was only CD#19around 5 days after O. Today is around 8 days after O. I'm wishfully thinking the nausea is an early pregnancy sign but it's probably just a side effect from the wreck or a virus setting in. If AF doesn't show up by the 14th when I go to get a follow up MRI i'm going to do another test.
