Now he says the clothes are put in the basket and magically appear clean and put away when he gets home. He says it makes choosing outfits harder when he has lots of choices.
haha, that's funny.

here, I am laundry washer, folder and puter awayer. it stinks.
I keep trying to have the kids help with theres, but honestly, most of the time, I don't get around to putting it away til its almost bedtime, so I just toss it in their drawers quick. I made some super cute paper dolls and clothes for their drawer fronts so that they can know where their clothes go, but the seasons changed so quick and I changed my mind on how to put their stuff away that now the little doll pictures (which of course I covered in clear contact paper) don't match the drawer anymore.
eventually I think I'm going to make and laminate the individual clothes and then use poster putty to attatch/change the clothes on a paper doll on each drawer.
of course, by then the kids will be teenagers and think I'm being ridiculous.

i've been sneaking time here and there to work on a quilt block. It's called all roads lead to rome, but I'm calling it all roads lead to gnome cuz it's goign to have a little gnome fabric in the center. so cute...at least it looks cute in my head.

oh, and my wrap is finally going to be shipped to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!
eeeeeeeek!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!
ok,believe it or not, I'm not actually one to do the girlie squeal thing, but it works well typed out...and you don't have to cover your ears.

so, anyway, that's me in a nutshell today.

As far as laundry goes I wash and fold all if it. I only put away the girls and mine...dh puts away his own. I like to wash and fold all of it mostly because I am a control freak.
Not much going on this weekend, been to 2 soccer games and grocery shopping...going to grill out tonight. It's actually nice here...only in the 80's which feels so much cooler than it has lately.

Well Dh is still sleeping. But he had duty last night and was up for the whole thing. Oh well.

I've done laundry and dishes, played with baby and finally got her down for a nap 20 minutes ago. Its cool outside right now so I'm having a snack on the porch while the boys play with dirt.

We're supposed to be in for some crazy weather tonight. Ugh. Why does it always have to be during the night??! not excited.

80s Carrie! wow! it's 50 here today, but it feels crazy colder because it's raining and windy. blek.

tonight should be fun! kids and I are going to head to the library in a few minutes and wayne will meet us after he is done with work. going to find a fun movie (probably the new Muppets movie), and watch it tonight together. before the movie, we're going to help the kids make snack necklaces...use string to thread snacks with holes like pretzels, cheerios, fruit loops, etc. hoping for a nice relaxing evening.

I am so TIRED!!!!! We had soccer this morning and soccer pictures so we had to be at the field at 7:30. UGH!

Dh had to go to a funeral service 2 hrs away for the Dr who created the company dh works for. THe kids are extremely crazy today and all I want to do is hide under the bed. LOL not really just sleep.

I just keep thinking of that commercial from the 80's "Calgon take me away!"

Oh no Hallie! I would be in big trouble if my laundry machines were down.

Hope everyone is soon well. We are so busy. I am trying to work on Dominic's and Nathan's costumes and plan Nathan's class fall party. I'm overwhelmed!! AF was supposed to be here on the 3rd, my hormones are making me nuts and I'm trying desperately to keep myself in check. I've had cramps for a week now with nothing. So weird!

Kids just went to bed and I am following. I'm sleepy and need to catch up on rest do I don't get sick.

Re: August 2011 - October chat

holy crap...that was a world of aweful! sheesh. kids were being absolute crazies, so I decide to take them for a walk to the library. a little change of scenery, a little bit o fresh air. nope, the crazy came with us and stepped it's game up. holy freak, I was ready to literally smash elijah's push car with a hammer or toss it over a fence at a couple points. he was just being ridiculous and sydney was not much better.
then we get to the library, amazingly enough, they calm down for a bit, then it was time to go home. elijah had wanted to be worn in our wrap on the way home, so I planned on wearing both him and kezia. I ask him if he wants in "nooooooo". ok, fine, start wrapping kezia, the wrap gets wonky, go to re-wrap, and this super obnoxious kid is stareing at me and also telling sydney she is being naughty for standing on something. super-obnoxious-kid (forward known as SOK) continues to stare at me as I'm trying to wrap kezia, get elijah to get his jacket on and keep sydney from walking out of the kid's section. sydney gets mad, calls me mean, SOK thinks she is talking to him and whines "I'm not being mean!" unfortunately, since his is in fact SOK, I do not bother to correct his misunderstanding. sydney then proceeds to play with some cushions (elijah has since decided that he does infact want in the wrap, so I'm trying to get him up and keep kezia from walking away) and SOK keeps tattling on sydney that she is playing with the cushions wrong or taking them where they do not belong. i'm thinking, 'get a clue SOK, I'm not listening to you!!!' I literally feel like everyone in the library is looking at me and the freak-show we have become and feel like yelling "STOP LOOKING AT ME!!!" I've got kezia sitting on a low bookcase (I know, bad idea) while wrapping elijah. sydney comes back over, tries to 'help" keep kezia on the case and ends up pulling her off, i catch her with elijah barely hanging onto my back. by then I am really ready to scream (especially at SOK who is STILL staring at us and making random comments [seriously, where is this kid's parents!?!?! ]). I drag our freak-show over to a different area, finally get elijah and kezia wrapped up, and grab our books and head home.
supper was even better and so the kids were in bed at 6:25. yeah, here's hoping they sleep all night, but so far only elijah has gotten up, so I'm very happy to be alone. (wayne is working late tonight, hence the extra craziness).

whew, time for supper for me...and maybe some refridgerated chocolate frosting.
