Thrifty & healthy snacks

My kids eat quite healthy during the day, I make a lot of our food/meals from scratch and they get fruits & veggies. My one daughter is on a gluten free diet in case that affects any ideas. They get a snack at night before bed with a show. As of now they are eating salty snacky processed food. Cheese puffs, snack mix, veggie straws. I do occasionally make them a sweet snack from scratch and I'll probably still do that sometimes. I'm looking for cheap yummy kid friendly healthier snacks for them to have. They aren't picky kids but it is gonna take them some time to get over their "normal" snacks being gone

What about a homemade trail mix - nuts, dried fruit, raisins, yougurt covered raisins, pretzel (not sure if you can get these GF), rice chex cereal

My boys love to make their own I set up little bowls with everything in it and little scoops.

I have made trail mix before but it was kind of expensive to put together. although cheaper to make it than buy it pre-made. I also bought them peanuts in the shell but they made such a huge mess opening them I'm not sure it was worth it.
