Unhappy What to stuff with? baby mom doesn't want cloth used

My brother and his gf split up and my brother will have his 3 month old son every Friday night 6pm through Sunday 6pm. I had offered them cloth diapers before and she said she couldn't make herself use them because it was disgusting. Anyway, my brother came by last night and asked if I had any cloth he could keep at his house to use when he had the baby. I have several pocket diapers but nothing to stuff them with. I used Green mountain premiums in them for my dd because she was much older and bigger when I used them on her and they were very bulky on her. Idk what to use to stuff for him that we will get the longest use out of and that is cheap. I was thinking about using 2 of the flour sack kitchen towels from Walmart maybe? Suggestions?

I used to use cottonbabies prefolds and really liked them. They fit well in pockets and they are decently priced too.

How long would I be able to use infant sized prefolds to stuff with? I can get regulars later if needed.

Re: What to stuff pocket diapers with?

I always stuffed my pockets with MF shop towels from SamsClub. I think at the time it was like 24 of them for like 10ish bucks. I still use them now as cleaning rags I personally didn't find flats (eg flour sacks) to be absorbent enough and i didn't like trifolded PF's b/c of the bulk. Although i did pin prefolds all day long as it was my preferred diaper, when i used pockets i always stuffed with MF

Idk, I can check lol...I have some of their infant pf's and some of their bleached premiums, I stuff the premiums into a fully unsnapped bg 4.0 for my 22m old. So you could probably use an infant one for up until you'd need to get the premiums and save money that way. The cb prefolds are really soft too! I have the unbleaced infants and the bleached premiums and I love them both!

I think it's wonderful that you're helping your brother out and that he's willing to do cloth! That's amazing!

Re: What to stuff pocket diapers with?

I have some microfiber inserts from my B.G. pockets as extras if you want them. Just message me FFS.
