I think he primarily just needs a lot of gut healing. He was a c/s birth, didn't get any colostrum, and then was on 4 very strong antibiotics including IV and oral, so he has a lot stacked against his gut health. I'm hoping with another couple of months of nursing and probiotics and we can get him back into good working order.
Oh yah, hopefully you're on the right track. I did a lot of reading up when my lil guys dealt with tummy issues and all of the above goes hand in hand. Probably the less junk you eat and/or dairy, coupled with time to heal and grow...you'll be out of the woods soon.

Well, junk food.... Yum. I'm a stress eater, so the junk had been plentiful! My waistline is not pleased about it, nor are my jeans. I'm trying to cut back some. I told myself I wouldn't worry about weight though until he was 6 months old just to make sure I don't make any changes that hurt my milk supply.

He even broke some of the 'rules' about having to finish the whole 10 days because the risk is just too great for her.

For us, change headed our way. It's all good, but managing change in two open adoptions is never easy. I just want to .
This sounds intriguing!

So glad abrahams tests came back ok! I'm sure you guys are about to finally get to sit back and relax and enjoy him now...you are due for a break I think!

The months sure have been flying by...until this month. I feel like it has been dragging on!! I think it's because today is the final day for unknown father to appeal (yayyyy!). We have been waiting for this day for 6 months. I can't wait to sign our intent to adopt and get this boy legal. :0)

Re: OCTOBER 2012 CHAT THREAD

I know, I will so excited to show his sweet face!! It's funny I occasionally share a pic on facebook of the back of his head...so when we see old friends out and about, they are so thrilled to see his face! It's funny, I almost feel this is all surreal...like it isn't really happening. I guess it's because we have been through so much, and waited so long!
