Re: Fitted Sew-A-Long
I do turned and top stitched.
This is the inside of a fitted I made for my sisters baby. It shows the attatched soaker. All I had for sewing on my machine was straight stitch. No serger, no zig zag. Attachment 121245 Last edited by qsefthuko; 10-09-2012 at 03:08 PM. |

Does anyone cut their diapers out with a rotary cutter or electric scissors?
I'm wondering what's the fastest method. C'mon WAHMs share with us how you cut out so many diapers quickly.

I always use a rotary cutter. I'm too lazy for scissors!
![]() Attachment 121258 Here's a pile I did a couple of weeks ago for a friend's baby shower. There's 10 each XS and Small fitted, 4 covers, 2 pockets and 2 wet bags.

What sizes do you plan to start with?

Re: Fitted Sew-A-Long
Seeing all the pictures has really got me wanting to try to make some! I am much appreciative of the pattern! Now I am wondering where to find some basic instructions. I can cut the pattern and place the snaps, but this will be my first attempt with a serger and am not sure how to approach the elastic? any tips or links to a quick tutorial? thanks!
