Check out the Cloth Diaper Revolution pattern. It's got a bunch of info for that stuff.

I'm using the CDR for my NB AIO's and fitteds and really like it. It does give you suggested # of layers for your soakers depending on type of fabric you're using.

Re: Fitted Sew-A-Long

I'm working out cutting out a bunch of diaper outsides and inners today and then going to work on putting a bunch of snaps on. And maybe get a few sewn up.

These are the last two diapers I finished up. Both are OS Hybrid Fitteds.

Re: Fitted Sew-A-Long

I finished my first diaper. It's so bad that I refuse to take a picture of it. I didn't get the elastic tight enough. I have another one cut out so hopefully I will be able to work on that one tonight.

Re: Fitted Sew-A-Long

Oh, I did find some really cute fabric on ebay that my son would love. So I have to get good enough to make him a diaper out of it.

You should post a photo anyhow! I'm sure it's not as bad as you think! We are all overly critical of our own stuff.

Does anyone ever feel weird about diapers they made? Like they're not good enough to be worn? Idk I guess I feel like this with everything I make, I can knit Longies and dye yarn and sew diapers and mama cloth but I'd rather buy it.. Because I feel like it would be better? Idk maybe I'm crazy.

I think everyone feels that way! We are all our own worst critics. But in the end they are poop catchers, so as long as they don't fall apart they still function. I find the more diapers I sew the better they get.

I'll be sewing some today. I want to get the one diaper I started finished at least. I got my serger back so I'm going to get it set back up and see how far I get. I'm at least going to make my snap in soakers with the serger to get used to using it again and working curves.
