Breastfeeding and a Hida Scan
Hi ladies
I am looking for any advice or experience that you might have. I am having a hida scan for gallbladder issues on Wednesday, and was told by my general practitioner that I have to pump and dump for 48 hrs after the scan. I have been looking things up to see if that is actually the case, and have found conflicting information.Has anyone had any experience with this? Did you have to pump? I am so nervous/feeling guilty about the whole thing because DD who is almost 8 months old has never had a bottle and I am terrified that she will be completely traumatized, or that she won't want to nurse again after the 48 hours. Help!!!
