Amber, glad to hear you're okay. I imagine it would be quite scary to have a reaction like that.

Actually, I don't even know where I'm at. I cannot imagine I lost anything while I was gone (I wasn't trying, for one thing), but I don't feel like I gained anything, either. Today will be spent in shopping, unpacking, and maybe even doing some laundry. I might leave laundry for tomorrow, as we don't need anything that is currently dirty. Either today or tomorrow will be my last day of soda before I cut that off. Probably today will be my last day.
Hi mama! I was wondering when you'd be back Good luck w kicking the soda habit. It's my one vice I just can't shake. I can go a few weeks w out one but then I stop at the gas station and I just gotta grab one. At least I make it last a few days lol

Re: Big Mamas October Support Thread

Okay, so I weighed this morning and I am right where I thought I'd be -- right about 225, which means I didn't gain anything while I was gone. Didn't lose anything, either, but I'll take the no gain for now. Today is my first day of no soda and either this week or next Monday I'll get back into an exercise routine. I will probably start weights this week and add cardio next week. Not positive, as we're also starting school work next week. I might just leave it informal until the following week.

I bet you will lose a lot giving up soda. I have heard many people doing that. I drink sparkling water and love it. That might help the carbination and sweet craving of the soda. Great job on not gaining while on vacation.

Lovely thought, but probably I won't. I really don't drink much, and aside from vacation, I don't drink it often. However, it really screws with my sleep patterns, which does affect my weight. When I crave something sweet, I usually make some tea -- sometimes hot, sometimes iced.

I am still at 210, I haven't gained any or lost any, but I'll take it! =) Hopefully it is the start of another steady decline.
Happy that everything tuned out ok but that must have been scary! Also not gaining is always a win in my book

This week I gained a pound for my Tuesday weigh in. I have been doing really good though since Monday (weekends are SO HARD!) I really need to start working out too but just don't have the time or motivation. I have one month until our Florida trip and had wanted to be at prepregnancy weight of 180 (for dd2) but I would be happy now with 190 or lower.

Lost some weight today finally! I am back down to 152.9 from 154.8 yesterday. I must have had some water weight built up. I am down 20 lbs now in total. I have 20 more to go.

Woot weight loss 184.4 today! I don't ever want to see above 185 again, unless I am preggo!
I also think I am going to have to up metformin because my fasting BG is still in the 110's! That is not where it should be at all

Kimmi- Awesome on the loss! I need to get more water in me, thanks for reminding me how water can effect your weight poorly

Good for you, Kimmie!!

I had a terrible headache last night from no caffeine. But, I have slept better the last couple nights. The kids and I are going all over the place today to run errands. At least, that was the plan, but I might wait on a few of the errands that are close by, as it's supposed to be raining all day. I can't wait until Natalie is in a regular seat and can unbuckle herself so I don't have to wait in the rain for her.
