Re: attempting cloth tonight - second night update ;)

deffiently a keeper! I did them at the highest rise last night to see if I liked it better.. Its a slightly messier look but it was a litttle easier to put on so I'll probably keep doing that..

However fuction works over looks...

Night time diaper went on about 8pm after her bath..
8:10 we nurse she is almost asleep when older sister comes in and wakes her
she is awake I decie to just let her play longer and we will retry latter..
8:45 I reluctently give into her "sups" request and let her have a bit of the soda I have
9:30 I tell my oldest take your sister to bed with you (you woke her after all)
10:00 sister come out and big sister fixes her a sippy cup full of Chocolate milk I should say no but...

finially they fall asleep.... They have moved from my oldest DD room (with the full sized bed they can share) into the toddlers room. The toddler is colplased under her pop up tent like the wicked witch of the East..

I decide she is safe though and follow the code of mothers to never move a sleeping baby and head to bed myself taking the empty sippy of chocolate milk laying beside her with me...

2am she wonders into my bedroom and asks for nummies.. I have no powers of resistance at 2am so I obey Shes nurses for who knows how long I fell asleep..

She repeats the request at 5am or maybe thats when I woke again and realized she was still nursing

8am we finially get up and about 8:30 I finially get around to changing her diaper

NO LEAKS!!! Over 12 hours all night nursing, some soda and a big container of chocolate milk still no leaks!

I'm sold

Such a cute photo! I really like the freetime. I find them very absorbent and low maintinence for a synthetic aio. If they weren't so much more expensive up here in Canada, I'd have more than the 2 I own now. Might have to find a few more on fsot.

Re: second night update page 2 ;)

so happy you found a nightime cloth solution, finally!! I can't wait to hear how they wash up over time. Microfiber at night makes me nervous.... but I'm a night time wuss these days!

I so wished my son could tolerate suedecloth. I'd be all about the FT.

I had a moment of panic when they arrived. I switched my DD from a suade cloth stash some time ago because of rashes/sensitivity to them.. I'd TOTALY forgotten BG uses suade cloth. However thankfully she has seemed to of outgrown it no rashes so far, I use a little baby powder with her diaper changes and spray a wet wipe with a little CJs spritz when I change poo diapers but that is it.

Re: second night update page 2 ;)

I'm so glad you found something that works! We also count on the FT for long nights (usually 10-12 hours with one or two nursings in there). And at least now (at 8 weeks) she needs no extra absorbency. I'm confident we'll still be able to use it down the line with the addition of some hemp doublers as necessary. Great pics!

My first thought when these came out was that they would be good for nights and easy to add absorbency to...they are a lot like the old Mommy's Touch AIO.

You almost have me convinced to order some...

And by the way I love the pic of the wicked witch of the east
