Sold a hard to find used goodmama on eBay.
Buyer is unhappy. Said its 'used and not in great condition. And the inside is Sherpa. Number one.. It's listed as pre-owned and USED. I noted the slight staining of the insert. I also reply to her message questioning the 'sherpa' and said 'I'm not sure if it's sherpa, it's not matted or anything, might be similar' I felt off about this buyer after her questioning (after she bid, but the listing wasn't closed yet) but figured she was just odd. Everything was accurate about the diaper. I just feel Like she has buyers remorse. What now? My eBay states no returns.. Which she probably didn't read. :/ I contacted eBay ready to Provide the pictures, listing and messages... But am so sad this is happening!! Any advice?? Omg!! She is listing it on goodmama fsot page! And even states its in great condition!!!!! And links my Listing!!!!!!! She is trying to get MORE money for it and likely trying to scam me in the process. sadness.

Wait, so she's asking you for a refund on the one hand, and selling it for more on the other? Classy. Screen cap her listing so if it goes to a PayPal situation, you can show that she's just trying to scam you.
I'd actually ask her, if its in such bad condition, why she has it listed otherwise. LOL

Re: Ebay: buyer unhappy
I don't know ebay's policy anymore but like 8 years ago lol you weren't allowed to sell used cloth diapers on ebay?
nm its says Used cloth diapers can be sold, as long as the listing states clearly that the item has been cleaned per manufacturer standards. Last edited by earthflower; 10-15-2012 at 08:46 PM. |

Urgh. So I contacted the FSOT goodmama FB board by their email they have listed... They have no MOD listed! And it posted to the WALL. Wth!! I deleted it as soon as I saw it. Buyer also saw it :/
She now wants a complete refund, saying she is not a scammer. I escalated. I don't know HOW she can prove the diaper was not as described when she uses my exact listing as her own description and is selling to 'the highest bidder' I just pray eBay actually cares enough to see that she is only now wanted a full refund because I (unintentionally) public ally outted her. How can a freakin email do that without warning you!!!

Re: Ebay: buyer unhappy
Did you get a screen shot of her listing before she saw your posting?

So as people are PMing with their offers so then proceeds to link my listing and says 'hopefully this answers questions' I'm just worried eBay won't ask me for the screenshots idk how often then side with sellers. Idk how she can claim I lied when she is using the exact description with the diaper in her hand!!!' so sad :'(

Don't wait for eBay to ask for the screen shots, just send them and explain the entire situation. I don't get what's she's thinking? How is she trying to sell it, but also wants a refund from you?
Absurd... I hope eBay acknowledges that she's a scammer and doesn't just take her side as she is the "unhappy customer". I hope everything turns out well. As long as your able to prove it was as described and you put 'no returns' then I think you'll be okay let us know what happens!Don't you just hate those "off" buyers, where you just know something is going to go wrong from the beginning. I think I'm dealing with one right now too... Last edited by aemarques; 10-15-2012 at 11:38 PM. |

My theory is..
She was working towards a partial refund from me, while working on getting a high bid off of FB. But after I 'outted' her on that board (which I can prove I did not intend to do, I sent an EMAIL) she likely had no standing offers. And she's pissed. So filed a case :/
