workhorse GMD - could you unstitch the attached soaker?
Looking at some of the larger sizes just to have for quick changes, but do not like the attached soaker that makes that area longer to dry? Could you unstitch the soaker and no harm the diaper. Make large holes or something and then just use the soaker as a lay in soaker and then faster to dry?

Yes, it is quite easy to carefully remove the soaker flap with a seam ripper.

Mama's on Etsy make the same thing and you can request no doubler, or just have unattached doubler (lay in!) Just search 'prefolds to fitteds' o Etsy
