We didn't use newborn diapers for Anna (just used sposies) so I'm excited to build a newborn stash. I'm trying to keep it reasonable since this might be our last baby, probably premie prefolds and covers. Hoping for some good Black Friday sales!

I actually have a decent stash. The problem is I bought all 'gender neutral' so once I know they gender I'll just want more....

I bought my stash when GMD had their sale on workhorses. I was like 5 or 6 weeks pregnant or less, lol. I have 2 dozen GMD orange workhorses and 1 dozen orange edge prefolds. I think I have 6 covers too. Mostly Thirsties XS. I also have 3 Flip covers that I will use, and I will buy the flats later. I also still have a small stash of pockets. I think maybe 12?

Re: anyone buying diapers yet??

I have not decided what to do about diapers for birth yet. With DD, we used sposies to 6 weeks. It was a compromise with DH who was not on board with cloth at that time. Now he is.

Is meconium hard to get out? I see a lot of posts about waiting until that's done.

I would like to go prefolds and covers and if I do that, I will have to buy new ones for the first few weeks.

I have read blog posts about diapering a newborn and having to overnight different things to try, etc and it sounds like it could be expensive trying to get it to work (unless you're happy with prefolds).

I cloth diaper for the green aspect, but I'm also not liking to spend a ton of money on something that is used for a month.
