Was it original Clorox? Splashless or scented Clorox as well as cheaper brands often have a lower concentration of sodium hypochlorite so you may need to use more of those. What kind of washer do you have and are you sure it is functioning properly?

Yep. I wondered the same thing. It HAS to be true chlorine bleach to disinfect.

After you do a super wash and get the inserts really clean, dry them in the dryer and then set them outside in the sun or even just aside somewhere. Let then hang out for a day and finish drying. or you can do 4 cycles in the dryer.
My hemp usually needs time to finish drying. it takes so long because hemp is so absorbent.

Over night soak in vinegar, super hot wash with bleach, boil and then dry on high heat?
