What is your favorite natural shampoo/conditioner?

I know this may be hard to believe, but I honestly haven't purchased shampoo since before I had cancer (3 years ago December). I don't wash my hair everyday, and DH and DS use different shampoos. I also used to get "the cheap stuff" and get it in as big of a bottle as I could. When I lost my hair I went to baby shampoo, and since my hair came back (2 years ago last August) I have been using what I had left over.

So now I am almost done with what I have. So I am looking for a good shampoo/conditioner for my hair. I have a Frontier order going in at the beginning of November and I would prefer to get something from there. My hair is chemo permed (chemo curls your hair, my hair was straight with a slight curl at the end, before chemo), but is otherwise healthy.

Thank you for the help!

I like castile soap for shampoo and apple cider vinegar for conditioner.

We use Fairy Tales. It is organic and free of sulfates. It has the added benefit of repelling lice. It smells really nice. It lasts a long time too. I use it as well as the kids. It states Color Safe on the bottle if that is a concern.

See the product site below. Drugstore.com sells it with a discount.

Another vote for Yes to Carrots. Not too expensive, and it works well (for me at least.)

Re: What is your favorite natural shampoo/conditioner?

I have tried a lot of sulfate-free shampoo solutions and none of them work well but I finally found one that I think works! It's called Giovanni (sp?) and I use the 50/50 version. I just found out they have it at ULTA, so with their card and coupons, it should be too expensive.
