good time to potty train and tips!

my b/ g twins are just over 2. we have the attach-to-toilet-seat potties, instead of the stand-alone kind. my kids really don't like sitting on it though.
they are giving me plenty of signs that they're ready but i'm not going to force it. i wanted to avoid the little potties, bc of space issues,cleanup,etc but if it makes it easier down the road we might get one or two for the bathrooms. thoughts?

It might be easier so you can put them both on the potty at the same time. I have boys, so they all circle the toilet and stand and go
