Unsnap OS's before washing?

I am getting some one size aio's for my next baby. When you wash these, do you leave them snapped down to smaller size or unsnap every time? With DS 1 I unsnapped his pocket diapers every time and then got so sick of it I ended up switching to perfect sizes dipes.

We don't have any OS AIO's just pockets and covers, but I always unsnap them. I worry that nastiness gets in that little fold and I know I would be paranoid that it didn't come clean if it weren't unsnapped.

I don't unsnap. I haven't had any issues that I'm aware of.

Re: Unsnap OS's before washing?

I never had any issues with leaving our OS diapers snapped for laundering - until today - I realized our Thirsties Duo Fab Fitteds (which are admittedly much different on the outside than our OS pockets - they are some kind of velour) got linty in the "crack". So I'll be unsnapping these only for laundering from now on.

We used BGE. I never unsnapped and never had any issues.

I never unsnap. It seems like too much work and unnecessary wear and tear. Never had a problem.
