I'm planning on knitting a bunch of longies for my lo that I would like to fsot when she's done with them. If I used a copyrighted pattern to knit them, is it okay to sell the used pants later?

I would think so, you are not really knitting them to make money. So long as the pattern is legal for personal use, then you are good. If you really wanted to sleep well at night, you could always fire off an email to the maker of the pattern

I'm sure the owner would LOVE to answer your questions!
