Anyone else feel like

..there isn't anything to buy?

I'm placing a custom order for a dozen diapers but other than that I feel like there is NOTHING to buy, and I have tons of pp burning a hole in my virtual pp pocket.

I can think of a million things I want but I can't find it. It seems like the quality has diminished and HC isn't what it used to be etc etc etc.

No flames! There's still great WAHMs but it's all hard to find.

ETA: I'm specifically looking for custom yarns and girly interlock wool.

Yes I know EXACTLY how you feel! Everyone keeps saying it's slow, but a more accurate statement would be at a a standstill. I've been lucky and found some of the things I want on FSOT and spots, but it's taken a long time to find what I have. I've been gone for a couple years, things are totally different now than when I left, that's for sure!

Yes, I'm there too. I find stuff off etsy, but it still isn't close to HC in its heyday...

I've been wondering why I don't read more on here about WAHM stuff -- I thought it was maybe due to them talking about what they love on the facebook chat groups instead...

I've seen some beautiful stuff though -- knitted woolies, some of those Holden's Landing Ai2s (i think they're Ai2s...) w/the detailed embroidery...those are really fancy! I missed out on the HC "Golden Age" But I see a lot of posts where mamas talk about how they don't want to/don't have time for stalking.

As a wahm, I'm still trying to figure everything out since all the virus/malware problems on hc. I'm not sure if I should take my business back there, move to Etsy, or just stick to Facebook. So far, I've just been taking custom orders from mamas emailing me, messaging on fb, or pm'ing here.

I do know a lot of us wahm's work mainly on customs, that way we don't have a lot instock just sitting. All my girls are potty trained now, so having a newbie set just sit here does not do us a lot of good.

That's my issue too. I stopped doing yarns due to so many customers informing me they won't do biz on HC. It's okay for me right now though because it leaves me plenty of time for my family's holiday projects and these half dozen patterns I need to publish!

I know there isn't much on HC these days, i think the virus really scared away a lot of customers, so the WAHM's took their businesses elsewhere. I have to say I like shopping on HC much better. Etsy is too big, I am not very familiar with big cartel and while I like FB for social stuff, I can't stand trying to shop on there.

I agree with all that! That's why I'm at a stand still! There's only half the customers left on hc. Etsy is very hard to navigate imo. And Facebook is not a good way promote business. I don't know what to do?
