Detaching BGE soaker pad = faster dry time?

I got a few BGE's yesterday, and am horrified at how long they take to dry! Three dryer cycles and they are still damp

I have heard of people detaching the soaker pad on one side, does that make them dry faster? If so, how do I do that?

Yes! I did it to all of mine and they dry in 1 cycle!
I just used a seam ripper and was careful not to catch the fabric. I detached it from the front and also detached the 2 soakers from each other.

If you haven't already, try flipping them inside out when you move them from the washer to the dryer and put 1 or 2 clean, dry bath towels in the dryer.

We have 24 and I detached them all. They wash cleaner, dry faster and fit so much better. They are all we use and I love them

Did it to mine and love the fit! The soaker actually stays flat instead of having an awkward bump at dd's back. And yes.... Drying time is faster. Unfortunately I will be listing mine fs because I just don't like snaps!

I dont care for BGE but LOVE then w/ a detached soaker and then I also seperate the two soakers also. Fast dry time and better fit!
