HE Washer
I use Bumgenius 4.0 and wash with Rockin Green. I'm traveling to see family in a month and they have a HE washing machine. What is a good wash routine for HE. I'm thinking less detergent?

Don't use less detergent. Use the same amount you're using now.

Re: HE Washer
Find out what you can do to trick their washer into adding more water. Mine has a setting for bulky items that fills the drum even if the items in there don't weigh enough. Some people have to add a bucket of water to the drum before it starts. I've heard of other women adding a wet towel in with the diapers to make the load heavier.

I do: - soak cycle or quick wash with no spin on warm so the diapers are fully saturated, - then heavy duty wash with extra water/extra rinse on hot with low spin, - then cold rinse with high spin just for good measure & to get the diapers as dry as possible. It's a lot but my diapers always get completely clean.
