I cannot find a turkey for Thanksgiving

That aside, I use Stovetop

Sides- Sweet potatoes, either baked plain or sprinkled with brown sugar and cinnamon, green beans, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce. That's it

I will share our very simple family recipe, but it uses the giblets which not everyone is cool with lol.

Take the giblets and boil them to get them soft and then save the water. Chop them up and saute them in butter with chopped onion. Pour the giblet and onion mixture over torn up white sandwich bread. Add eggs, garlic powder, and enough of the giblet water to make the bread moist but not soggy. Mix it all up with your hands. Stuff it in the bird or bake in a casserole dish. Very simple, but is very yummy.

Idk but this made me insanely jealous.

Also. I love homemade everything. Literally. But I will only eat stove top stuffing. Out of the container. Because I think it's best.

When I used to work ate restaurant we did turkey dinner once a week and ours was. Take all the ends of leftover bread and throw in a big metal bowl nd let dry out. Or slow slow and low bake them in the oven.

Use half dried bread and half fresh or whatever combo you want

Fry onions celery sage savoury(if you like it) salt pepper and garlic in a lot of butter. Just let them sauté slowly. Mix with the bread and a few handfuls of mashed potatoes(just boiled potatoes no milk or butter) if you have turkey drippings throw some n too. If not its fine.

Mix and squish together. But into pan. Bake.
