I love blues on dd to match her eyes. She does own pinks as well as many other colors (browns, blacks, greens, etc)- too much of any one color is something I try to avoid.

I've never had a problem finding clothes that aren't pink, my dds like a huge variety of colors.

DD1 has always looked great in green. So make sure there is some in her wardrobe each season. DD2 is a little darker and looks awesome in bright colors like red and orange.

They both wear a good amount of pink and purple though, fortunately they both look great in them.

We have a good variety of colors but mist still have some pink, either pattern or zipper.

I have twin girls. One always, always picks pink if given a choice and the other mostly picks turquoise.

Yes i do agree that it is a bit annoying that stores sell mostly pink things.

I'm not a huge pink fan either. After two boys, when I found out we were having a girl, all of a sudden everything was pink or smocked!
I've had some luck with finding a variety of colors, and don't mind pink in moderation.
I did her nursery in grey, with white and yellow accents. The only pink in there is her clothes!

^yes to that. its i do do try to advoide pink but when i see a cute outfit that is pink i will get it (unless it comes in a diff color) but were really try to have a colorfull wardrobe for her. even if we have to go into the boys deparment to get a plain shirt just for a diff color!

My girls are 9 & 15 and it gets better as they get older!

My oldest has a very dark tan skin color and I think she looks lovely in any color other than a bright yellow. She does happen to look gorgeous in bright pink but she's not terribly fond of pink.

My other girl has medium complexion and she looks especially good in classic Crayola marker colors...red, blue, green, orange...all of it!
