Who would have thought I'd stress so much about flats!?!!

I can't decide between gmd or diaper rite. I know there are lovers of each out there. Anyone have both and want to give me your opinions? How square are they? And how flat do the seams lay?

Re: Can't decide...help!

I've been having this dilemma too! I found a thread somewhere comparing prepped flat sizes, and DR large was about 26x29, while GMD's larges were about 30x30 (huge!). And I've found tons of other threads too... People also said that their GMD's edges laid more flat, but that the DR's were softer.

I have some small GMD flats now, so I might stick with GMD, but I really wanted to try DR! Maybe I'll get both :x That's usually my solution to these problems...

Here's the thread about the sizes of flats:

Do you want mostly square flats or more rectangular flats? If you want square go with GMD. If you want more rectangular go with Dr.

Re: Can't decide...help!

Do you like your flats to be more square? GMD's are pretty much perfectly square, and I LOVE them! They are the Cadillac of birdseye flats IMO. The edges never curl either. The large size is huge though! Im pretty sure the small GMD's will fit my DS until PL'ing, but I do padfold the large size in a Flip for naptime though. Get both! Flats are cheap! That's how I look at it!

I do like them square. I guess I should measure my receiving blankets and see if I need the large or small. I have the imagine bamboo and they are more rectangular and that irritates me lol. My 10 mo old weighs about 23 lbs and has huge thighs!

Or maybe I will get a dozen of both like pp suggested...I tend to solve proems the same way! Lol
