Lentil Soup question

Can you freeze lentil soup? Or will it turn mushy/lose the texture?

Re: Lentil Soup question

What I do with all soups in put in a pyrex glass storage bowl and let cool on the stove. I sometimes put them in the fridge overnight and in the freezer in the morning. I then just reheat on the stove. They might be a little mushier then fresh, but not much.

That's what I did. Then I thought about it when I was putting it in mason jars for storage, and that's when I thought about it getting mushy lol.
