Some diapers don't fit kids well.each kid is built differently. Maybe if you tell us your child's size and what you are using we can help

Maybe his diapers are meant for chucky thighs or he is starting to outgrow. Some kids are also allergic to exposed pul or foe and need covered PUL or Elastic.

Re: Red marks on Thighs

could be lots of different reasons! a little red mark is ok, like what your sock leaves around your leg when you take them off. that means there's a good 'seal'. try a different brand of diapers, or maybe bump up to a onesize if you've been using newborn diapers, or just adjust how tight your snapping the legs! if you're using a dipe with a snap down rise adjusting that will change how it fits around his legs too, try making it a longer rise and see what happens.

I had that problem too. I found when I went up one snap making the rise higher it helped, even though I was afraid it Wes going to loosen the seal too much and allow leaking. So far, no leaks and the red marks aren't as bad (like someone else said, looks like the mark your sock leaves when you take it off)

I've noticed the same on my chunky 4mo old. I use CB's and adjusted the snaps, but left the elastic the same size and it seemed to work.

We had the same problem. Using diapers with incased elastic aound the legs has really helped us!

It could be a sizing issue. I recommend:

* A larger snap setting
* A larger diaper size
* Or if you're using diapers with just serging around the edges all the time try and alternate between serged and turned and topstitched

He is 4 months, around 16-17 pounds and I had him wearing the Rumparooz G2 One Size pocket diapers!

It seems to go away when I put him in the Flip diapers. I was also reccommended to try swaddlebees and bottom bumpers.

Re: Red marks on Thighs

Everything was leaving bad red marks on my dd about a month ago (@ 4 months, only 12 lbs), I think she got a little longer and it has gotten a lot better. 3-4 months old has been the fattest stage for my kids, they are good at eating but aren't moving around much so they are roly-poly.
Flips are known for having gentle elastic; I'd put away your Rumparooz for a month or so and try them again.
