Dirt in baby's poop?

For about nine days now there has been what appears to be dirt in my 4mo's poop. There is no way she has been eating dirt. At first I thought maybe she somehow got some dirt on her hand (like a handful of cat, for example) and then sucked on her hands, but it has been going on for a while now (and the cat rarely goes outside so she should be clean).
Should I be concerned? Could it be something from inside her body as opposed to something she put in her mouth? BTW, she is EBF.

Is it black/dark brown? The first thing I think is digested blood. Stomach ulcer, esophageal irritation (swallowed blood), etc. I don't think it's an emergency, but I would call the pediatrician.

Yes. Would it be grainy? I figured blood would be gooey or clotty... But the grains do smear if I rub them.

Does it look like coffee grounds? That's usually blood.

Mama I don't want to scare you, but in would probably call your pedi now or the ER to make sure it's not an emergency.

At 4 mo, I would probably call the on call number. praying everything is fine
