My dad just called. I have seen this 30 gallon bag of red heart at my dads house the last couple weeks and I was hoping it wasn't for me. Turns out my brother saw it in a toss pile somewhere and "rescued" it for me. Yay! I need help stash busting for probably 50 lbs of maroon and white acrylic!

My brother loves me so.

The thought is amazing. Why don't people toss pashmina like that??

Hi all mind if I join?

So today I co'ed a pair of longies for my dd.
The waistband and trim (and possibly a little cargo pocket) is going to be with lolly tree cotton candy (I think!) and the body of the Longies is just a hot pink. Not exactly fall/winter colors but hopefully she can wear them into the spring.

Other than that, I have plans to maybe knit her a thanksgiving/Christmas set. With interchangeable shirts can anyone point me in the direction of a good cw?

Knit RB a red heart santa suit?

I'm to the cuff on these darn longies, then I can work on my Socktober knits! I also finished plying a bobbin of Hestia today (possibly my slowest plying ever).

For MadTosh - I like it, don't love it. I like my own semi solids though, so it's hard for me to pay $20 a skein vs. $6 for bare, kwim? I made my mom mitts from it that she loves though (rosewood), and some day I hope to make me a sweater from Tart, red is my new obsession, don't ask me why
