Re: KAL Oct 7-13 *Knit the funk away!*

my boys have so many undies. little DS changes his clothes at least once in a day, but usually more. His piles are always the biggest when I go to put stuff away. the undies and pants being the tallest. He often is too busy to pee in the potty and dribbles come out in these situations. He just says "its ok, i'll just change it" OK little man. He'll be doing laundry as soon as he can reach the buttons (w/a stool of course!)

Fi, that yarn w/the black is so pretty! I love it too and i usually don't like yarn w/black in it.

AFM, just gotta get the kiddies off to school today, then I have a whole day to knit! . Maybe I'll switch to dpns (or ML if I'm not brave...) today...
Almost always have socks on the needles, and it IS Socktober DPNs are easy peasy, you can do it!

I guess I lost the MQ but happy birthday B!

DH is off today, we're taking a last trip to the coast for the year. He found McMenamin's in Lincoln City has GF fish n chips so we're stopping there and heading to Munson Falls. I'll take yarn for Pixie longies so I can start those

Can't wait to see your goodies. I will knit for swap as soon as these sweater sleeves are finished! Friend asked me to knit her a hat. I am not crazy about the pattern, it has an ugly seam IMO, but still still wants it....sigh. I think a dark color may make the seem look better?

Hmm, that is a cute pattern. If I were making it, I would probably get lazy and join the hat in the round after the little opening.

MMM, I want good fish and chips. Too bad I don't think I'll have time to get some next week when I'm close to where the good place is. It's call "Old Bag of Nails" and besides their good fish and chips they make deep fried snickers. Yum. Now I want one. May need to find a ride to get there next week.

have fun at the coast...hope you don't get too wet. Its suppose to POUR this weekend. The weekend I planned on doing pictures at the Pumpkin Patch

------------

Happy Birthday B! Have fun at your party.

as far as interrupting his lake time...I personally didn't like being pregnant during the summer with Em. Being due and up at the lake is no fun...the nearest hospital is 45 minutes away (and 2 hrs away from our hospital). Yes I know many people live that far away from their hospital. But the town doesn't even have a paramedic (incase something were to happen). I'm a nervous freak like that close to my due date. So I don't mind having a fall baby. Just hope I can get a sticky fall baby. And I don't know...it would make Steven 7 years old when we have baby...

I don't blame you about being knocked up in the summer. This will be the first time that I'm actually not. I have hardly any winter maternity clothes. I am going to wait and see what my sister-in-law still has before I do too much shopping though. I suppose having good medical care nearby though is a good idea.

Don't worry about the age difference, hehe, ds was almost 10 when DD was born! They get along really well most of the time! . He will be 16+ years apart from any other "maybe babies" we *might* have someday

good idea..I will see if I can do that. There is another similar pattern, the peasant hat if that one doesn't work out well.

hmm, I'm not a sinckers fan, maybe this would make them yummy? do they bread it and fry it? seems it would be like a choc filled donut in the end?

working down my sleeve. Had to fudge a bit to make them the same length and not have to frog, I didnt' want to do it again. I hope they look OK in the end. they are so messy, need a nice blocking!

Re: KAL Oct 7-13 *Knit the funk away!*

I wanted to start booties today but im dying of a stomach bug (who gets that when they are pregnant? REALLY????) I feel like this pregnancy has not given me a BREAK, emotionally or physically.

Anna changes so much that I now let her run around naked most of the day because the only thing she likes more than changing 40,000 times a day is being naked. LOL
