You aren't an idiot please don't say that. You are learning and these sorts of questions are fine. Let me go look back I didn't read that closely.

OK, thanks, I just feel bad. I've been trying to be self sufficient because no one IRL knits (that I know) I really appreciate your help

It looks like its just shaped but nt really a heel so those decreases are what sort of shapes the foot.

Imagine it like a tube sock. There is no dedicated heel, it just forms where ever your foot dents it. I am just guessing though, so I can tell a lot more by seeing the item which is why I asked for the pattern link.

Here it is! Your all so good to me. Thanks so much!

THis is the actual wesbite and a few comments down someone outlines how to knit it in the round because the original post says it can be knit in the round but doesn't say how

WAIT! I think I get it! I just looked at the bottom pick and they are straight up the back so I totally get what you are saying now, I think. No better way than to try it out! LOL

Ok I was wrong, sort of. The instructions she gave are not complete. It looks to me like she left out or assumed you would continue the instructions from the orig pattern and seam the bottom? The decreases form the top of the foot and the heel is formed with your knitting and purl rows just the ends fitting over the toe and over the heel as they are without shaping.

So it will still need to be seamed?

It looks like it because the k and p rows go up the foot and not from toe to heel.

I want something seamless. Is that going to be hard to find?
