Re: KAL Oct 7-13 *Knit the funk away!*

yeah I knit them last year in a couple of days...they are super cute and I'm wondering if I should add ruffles to the bottom to make the inseam longer and she could still wear them. I think the rise and hips are her size

Id def take measurements and if all they need is a little bit in the inseam I would definitely add the ruffle, they are too cute not to use again

We rented that for tonight too!

I saw someone link the EviePants Bootie earlier and her longies pattern is awesome, step-by-step, so I imagine the booties pattern is similarly easy.
Very easy, it's pretty much the classic method from what I've seen. I don't use a PCO, I just pick up stitches after.

I do mine bottom up, knit the bottom in garter, pick up around the sides, and then short rows to decrease the toe.

Cs just had another pattern published in knit scene and I thought about buying it.

I won't be.

We are home from the coast, it was a blast. McMenamin's doesn't have GF fish n chips anymore, but they had GF buns and tons of yummy sandwiches. The waterfall was nice, the beach was nice but COLD, we saw tons of seals playing in the waves. Swatch is done for Pixie longies. We stopped and got paint color cards too for the upstairs room, we're going to repaint, re-arrange and give Pi his own bedroom, give Pixie a toddler bed, and set up the crib, then DH can finish trim molding in what is our current bedroom. Lots of work to get done before I start getting big!

Don't you have enough money yet woman. How much more yarn do you need I would just add ruffles and call it good. Butch has at least 1 pair of longies I'm going to rip the cuffs out of and extend, when he grows (probably in the next week the way he's been eating). If only I could add a ruffle and be done. But his hips and rise ares definitely still the same.

And, I told Dh that Butch has 3 pink diapers on the way. His response, well they are going to be pink and brown when he uses them who cares what color they are Have I mentioned I love that guy lately.

Oh the joys of painting...I get to do that soon too. Yukko lol. What colors are you going with? I'll get a pic of our chips to share tomorrow.

Also happy second birthday to B! What a doll!
