Re: Do your SO's pants
Yes, if dh is wearing under pants they are always covered by his pants other than possibly a little bit of waist band as other posters have mentioned. I have noticed that boxer briefs come up higher than the natural waist of most pants/shorts (not so much on dress pants but more so on casual shorts) but not true on the euro-trunks he likes to wear when working out/doing derby.

Yes. His hit right below the waistband of his boxer briefs (which btw are the sexiest underwear a man can have!!
lol) for as long as I've known him he isn't a 'sagger' I think it's hideous when a man has to hold up his pants to walk or he walks with his legs spread super far apart to keep them above his knees.**not so patiently waiting for baby #3 to arrive**

Always. You could maybe see 1/4" of waistband if he bent over or lifted his shirt, but that's it.

Re: Do your SO's pants
Yes...if he walked around with his pants around his knees I wouldn't have dated him, married him or reproduced with him. My husband is only 32 so he's still in that 'generation' he just thinks the whole 'style' is stupid. He wears a belt from the time he gets dressed in the morning till he puts on sweats for bed.
ETA- My 16 year old brother, 25 year old brother, 18 year old nephew and 15 year old nephew also cover their underwear up...at least when I'm around them (my brothers both do all the time I know, idk about my nephews)

His pants cover everything. I find it nasty & disrespectful when men(or women with their whale tail) show underwear.
