Re: Do your SO's pants

DH doesn't have much butt to speak of, even with a belt his pants slide down enough that the top of his waistband is showing - but that's always covered by his shirts so I allow it.

Saggy pants were always an immediate disqualifier for men back in my single days.

This reminds me of that one Guy who sang "pants on the ground" for American idol auditions awhile ago. I thought the song was hilarious! "U look like a fool with your pants on the ground!" Haha.

Absolutely. I think it is the stupidest "trend" I have seen tbh. I find it utterly ridiculous that they have to use a belt so they don't fall all the way down or hold on to them so they don't fall all the way down.

And, when exactly has it been ok in our society to have your pants around your thigh when walking around in public?

Pants are made to cover your butt, so cover it.

Only his waistband shows and that's only because he's lost weight and needs new pants.

Yes but my 29 year old BIL lets his hang all off his butt. It's absurd.

Yes. If his shirt lifted up there might be a little waist band showing but usually not. I saw a guy in his 20s the other day with his pants hanging down really low and I could see his underwear. He was with his mother at a hardware store. He was a good looking guy but if I was single I wouldn't even consider that guy. Even if my son was in his 20s and he had his pants hanging down I would tell him to wear a belt.

Yes DH wears his pants around his wait like they are supposed to be worn and i would say her wears a belt 99% of the time as well. I think it is horribly tacky and disrespectful to walk around with your underpants showing.

My husbands waistband and some of his boxers always show. It's not a big deal

Re: Do your SO's pants

Yes, but my S/O has always been a conservative dresser, even in high school. When he wore jeans they fit properly and were not "in style" but he looked better than 95% of boys at our school. Now he refuses to wear jeans and only wears black dress pants or kahakis. They always fit and if he's lost weight recently, he wears a belt. When we aren't going anywhere, or maybe just to a fast food place or whatever, he'll wear athletic pants, but again, they fit at the waist.

ETA: I'm not talking about a sliver of a waistband showing. I assumed the OP was talking about their whole underpants, as in how some guys let their pants hang on purpose because it's their "style" or whatever. I'm sure my S/O sometimes shows a little waistband once in a while. LOL

Well, my DH doesn't wear underwear (don't ask, I hate it) but if he did his pants would definitely cover them.
