subbing extract for eo?

I have an organic extract, made with sunflower oil and lemon essential oil, could i use this in place of lemon essential oil?

I realize it is not as strong and that I'll end up having to use more of the extract then I would of the eo in the long run but its all I have on hand atm and was wondering if it would at lest give something similar.

Planning on just adding it to a deo recipe if that matters, so Im assuming Id subtract it from the oil content?

TIA
