I had a major scare last night and ended up in the ER today. The only good thing out of it was I got to see baby. Baby measured 8 weeks today and had a hb of 167!!! Someone IS in there! I couldn't even realize that fully until today.

I have a bleed on my uterus though but everything looks fine.

*edit: I wasn't sure I wanted to talk about this yet but I figured maybe someone has some advice or has been through this. I have been going to the bathroom straight blood (#2) which is what prompted the ER visit. Now I have to see a G.I. specialist and they think I could possibly have Crohn's disease or some other irritable bowel issue. I don't know what kind of testing they will be able to do but I am wondering how this is going to affect my pregnancy. I am in a lot of pain.

That must have been/still is super scary. Glad baby is doing well. Hope the docs are able to figure out what's going on with you.

Oh I'm so sorry! I hope you are able to figure this out. I have heard of people with crohns disease who are able to completely eliminate their symptoms by quitting gluten. Are you experiencing any brain fog? I may be gluten intolerant and that is one of my symptoms. It's also a symptom a lot of people with crohns have

I had the same thing happened to me the day after I got a positive test with my second child. I went to have a bowel movement, and just straight blood mixed in. It was bright red and terrified me! I also was having some terrible stomach pain. I had issues throughout my entire pregnancy with episodes here and there. I ended up going to see a GI doctor and I was diagnosed with IBS with gastritis. I also have vomiting when the episodes come on, so that is where the gastritis comes in. Hopefully you can get in to see a GI doc soon and find out what is going on.
