My Mood:
Osprey Poco

After reading a bunch of reviews of the new Osprey Poco, I decided to give it a try and ordered one. So far I like it but I can't decide if I should keep it or send it back. It doesn't have as much room for my son as my Deuter (definite downside) but it's easier on my back (definite upside).

Does anyone have a Poco and a tall three or four year old? Does your kiddo still fit?

Re: Osprey Poco

The problem with the poco and all the kelty packs is that the baby's seat is a crotch dangling position. The deuter is so much better, just for this reason. I can wear my 3.5 year old comfortabley for both of us in it but with that other kind of harness she doesn't want up ( we also have a kelty...wish I had gotten a second deuter) also the keltys have a systemic problem where the adjustment pin just slips out ( they will send you a new carrier but I wouldn't risk it.
