I think so, sorry Anya While there's no excuse for him being rude (and not having a receptionist..wtf?) I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. Does he have a family? Some event came up that he really wants to attend, his wife nagging him that he's "never" home so fine I'm taking off..etc..etc. It sucks for him to cancel so short notice but I just have to hope it's important to him for some reason and not just kicking back on the couch. I know you're anti-us but so as not to cancel all of the other stuff I would totally just head down to a gender place. It's 15 mins and you're done.

Well the problem with doing two u/s is money. Each place is going to charge us $90-150 to do it (and that is with a discount) and we are really really tight on money right now to afford the homebirth. We barely make it each month.

Lilbit, The "local" gender ultrasound place we have (2 hours away) requires that you've already had your 2nd tri anatomy ultrasound anyway. Isn't that frustrating? But you make a great point that he probably has a good reason going on in the background. At least we hope so!
