New Graco Click Connect 35 LX

I have been researching and researching infant seats since we need a new one for baby #4 coming soon. I *think* I am in love with the new Graco Click Connect 35 LX coming out in January. It's really lightweight, long lasting in terms of baby size, easy to adjust straps, seatbelt lockoff (potentially handy for installing in the middle seat), and a pattern I love too . Can anyone think of any cons that I am not seeing? Size isn't a big issue (it should fit in our van just fine), and I don't care about price (if I love the seat, it's worth it to me). Anyone see anything negative that I am missing?

How soon is baby expected? If not right away, I might wait a bit to see some hands on reviews. I don't see anything wrong, but I like more info. My Graco safeseat didn't fit my second child well at birth, so that's something I'd be wary of.

I generally like graco so I'd go for it!

Thanks for the input. Baby's likely coming the end of May, so I've got a while. I might buy it and not open it so I can return it if some issues arise. I'm not too worried about the nb fit since I am not expecting an especially small baby.

The only thing to be aware of is that the Click Connect car seats will only be compatible with Click Connect strollers. If you have a Graco stroller already, the Click Connect 35 will not work with the stroller. "Click Connect" refers to the stroller connection mechanism.

I looked at it and decided against it for this reason. I have a feeling we'll be using the stroller with the seat A LOT during the summer to help protect from the sun, and we already have a Graco stroller in great condition.

Yes, I still need to work that out. My stroller is an UppaBaby and I need to call UppaBaby and see if they are working on a new Graco adaptor for these seats. They make a regular graco adaptor. I am hoping the answer is yes. But if not I suppose I could get a snap n go type click connect stroller just for the car seat? I dunno, I need to think that through a bit.

You could always get the brutsx stroller straps and just use it that way.

That's a great idea! I think that's what I'll do if UppaBaby won't have an adaptor available for it. I'm looking at the pics in the amazon listing for those stroller straps and I am positive they would work well on my stroller.

I know a lot if people use them. They're much cheaper than a adapter.
