Diaper Swappers

We are a group of parents that chat and support each other.
We have been at this for a while so some of us are out of the diapering stage.
...some were out and are back in again.
Every once in a while we actually get to answer a diaper question or two in here.
If you are looking for a very diverse and open group come on over and chat.

Long day. I can teach on 4 hours of sleep. Awesome. It is a good thing to know! I had a good day today. All but one of my kids met standard on the math test I gave last Friday. Woot!

Tomorrow is pajama day at school. Yeah. It'll be easy to get them to focus all day. Not.

It is kind of amazing what we can do on such little sleep.

Fynn is an odd boy.

Makes a massive fuss about going to kindergarten this morning. Will not go downstairs....crying, clinging on to me. Nothing can persuade him to go. Not biscuits, not Shannon, not Opa being down there in the living room waiting (he didn't come out), and not the tv.

I sit on the floor and turn on the light in the stairwell. It's a timer-light. He's holding on to me and still wont go.

The light times-out and turns off. He fusses about the light going off. I say it's ok turn it on again. He wipes his eyes and turns on the light and then he goes downstairs, as cheerfully as he does any other day.

Silly boy.

Gah!

He's worn these longies since he was 2 years old and there was never a single hole in them. He's worn them twice since it started to get cooler and that's the 3rd and 4th hole I've just found in theme.

I am getting annoyed!

Sorry about the holes Janine.

I think I am taking the afternoon off. I need to go help for a while at the charter school and I think I will do it today. So needing a break and sitting in a quiet room processing new books will be easy peasy.

:morning: I want to go back to sleep! This getting up at 5:45 everyday is crazy. I need to meal plan and grocery shop today. For real this time

Obviously not, because after I was up for an hour DH rolled out of bed and booted up the Keurig for himself while he took the kids to the bus. Would have worked better if he put the cup under it

SO I got 2 kids up/dressed/groomed and out the door. Had a conversation with B about why she isn't getting an allowance right now, did Mari's forgotten homework with her, and cleaned up coffee lake. Next up is

and chores. SIL may have sold the stud colt too

He isn't my favorite horse... and is starting to act like a big boy so I am ok with him selling.
