Diaper Swappers

Hi everyone! I have been a member since 2007, but mostly read all your wonderful comments, and haven't done much posting myself. I figured I was long overdue for an introduction!

I'm Dawn, mother to two great children - Allison is 2 years old and Michael is 6 yrs old. I have been married to my wonderful husband Mike for 8 years. I work outside the home in the accounting field, and my husband owns his own landscaping business. Michael is active in taekwondo, and Allison just started gymnastics. We are planning to enroll Michael in gymnastics to help him with some of his karate moves, and Allison will be starting dance in 3 months. So we are very busy!

I did use cloth diapers with both of my children, although it fizzled out pretty fast with with my second child. I am not sure why. I think maybe the convenience of sposies overtook me? Shame. I was also a baby-wearing mama! Allison seemed to enjoy it more than Michael. But Allison became independent so fast, and wanted to walk everywhere "by myself!" I think the last time I used it on her was right before she learned to walk. I used a sling and a backpack style carrier. Loved them both!

I hope I can contribute to some of the forums more, and I will continue to learn from you all!
