Re: Am I THAT big for 7.5 months?
Thanks ladies! Glad to hear I'm not alone in not only the unwarranted comments, but belly size
I figured it was average and love my belly, all the comments just made me wonder.Funny how everyone all of a sudden has an opinion on everything

Re: Am I THAT big for 7.5 months?
You look totally normal, you were a small woman to begin with so the baby has to go somewhere! For me, my babies can go up because I am tall with a long torso so I tend to look smaller then normal. Try not to worry, you look adorable!

Normal to me.
![]() I'm 5 ft 100 lbs or so not pregnant. With my dd1 I put on 60 lbs. lol I was huge all over! I think the bed rest and not having a kitchen to cook was part of the reason. With the next 3 though I only put on 30 lbs and looked like I shoved a beach ball under my shirt. After 4 babies I'm still just over 100 lbs |

Re: Am I THAT big for 7.5 months?
No not huge at all. Actually you carry beautifully!! You look great!! You just carry more out in front of in than more inside the way others do. I get huge, and I am a more petite frame, I am 5'6'' and 115lbs. By the end I look like I have a beach ball under my shirt. Once a kid asked his mom why I had a soccer ball under my shirt! NO joke!! You shoulda seen his face when I showed him it was my belly!
![]() You look beautiful, enjoy the rest of your pregnancy!!

Re: Am I THAT big for 7.5 months?
You're absolutely not abnormally big! You look great! It's just so much more obvious on a petite frame, maybe that's why people are saying things. And the "recommended" range is 25-35 lbs for weight gain, so don't be surprised if you do get up to the 30lb range. I gained around 35 with my DD and probably will end up at around 35 with this one too, but it was gone pretty quickly afterwards - I was actually surprised at how fast.

Re: Am I THAT big for 7.5 months?
First off, you look FINE.
Second, if you eat healthy foods in normal (or even slightly larger than normal) portions, you honestly should not have issues with "too much" weight gain. I gained about 40 lbs with my first, 62 lbs with my second, and roughly 35lbs with my 3rd. When I'm not pregnant, I'm 5'3" 115-120lbs. I ate healthy foods but I ate when I was hungry, and if craved something awful, I ate it and didn't torture myself. I Bfed. I don't exercise regularly. With all 3 of my kids, I lost every last ounce of weight by 6-8 mos postpartum. My body just gained what it needed.

Re: Am I THAT big for 7.5 months?
You look totally normal. I agree with the pp who said it's either "you're huge!, it's twins/too small, are you eating?"
It may even be because you're normally so thin, you look bigger/belly more noticable than on a woman with more fluff. |

Re: Am I THAT big for 7.5 months?
You look great! What a beautiful baby bump
and just so you know with our newest baby I gained only 15lbs and everyone thought I was huge and had to be carrying twins lol. Two days after birth I was back to my prep regnancy weight. So just try to ignore those comments for some reason it's considered socially acceptable to be rude to pregnant women.
